Philosophy
As a result of her varied studies and experiences, Judith believes in bringing together
the traditional clinical world of Western Psychology and the "non-traditional" world of holistic, complementary
methods: Mindfulness meditation,
Authentic Self (Core) - leadership, and energy medicine. She believes there is
great value in "bridging" both worlds.
Along with her years of training in many disciplines, she believes in bringing her own personal
understanding and internalization of the application of these methods to this work. This comes from both
clinical practice and personal experience.
The relationship between counselor and client is also very important, and her work is therefore relational
and collaborative. Respect, clarity and a bit of humor are important ingredients. She and her clients become
a team, working together to personalize the process for each individual seeking help. Personally and professionally,
she brings her own Authentic Self to all of the interactions with her clients.
Unlike many other psychological
philosophies that see people as damaged, Judith works from the belief that no matter how much pain has been experienced,
how troubled a person may be, or how badly they may feel, all have, at their center, an
"Authentic (Core) Self".
Accordingly, she can
help people tap into their own innate wisdom, and find their own "Center", which may have been lost, buried, or forgotten.
Working in this way facilitates faster and more complete healing.
